Budgets for art in schools have been slashed nationwide and thus most schools cannot afford residencies like Art For the Sky. Many schools don't even have an art teacher. This is appauling since many studies have show that students fare far better in school when art is a regular part of school curriculum. Please consider helping to create an endowment to bring Art For the Sky and it's joy and vital teachings to schools in need. Imagination is in trouble in our school system and this is a dangerous situation.
A tax-deductable donation to the Charitable Partnership Fund's Art For the Sky program reaches far more people than most contributions do. Consider perhaps, sponsoring a school or a collaboration with an environmental or social justice group on an important issue in your area. Contributions can be targeted as you wish and your name will appear in the credits of the film that is created for each project. Examples of these films can be seen on the Sky Gallery video collection.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
